Enhancing Student Confidence and Literacy Through Visual Vocabulary Strategies LIMITED

Have you ever had a student begin to read the test questions and give up halfway through? Do you have students who you KNOW would do well on the assessment if they could just understand what the question was asking them? This session will guide teachers through boosting students' confidence and literacy skills using visual vocabulary strategies. Participants will learn practical techniques for creating engaging visual manipulatives, integrating them into lessons across subjects, and fostering active learning. Teachers should come prepared with one unit's vocabulary words and their laptops and will leave with a ready-to-go set of activities they've created to use with their students.
