Family Engagement is a vital part of student success. Research has shown the positive impact that family engagement has on student performance and achievement. Family engagement in schools contributes to positive student outcomes. As educators we must use our skills to build relationships with our families. Family Engagement can aid in improving student achievement, decrease disciplinary challenges, and better parent-teacher and teacher-student relationships. This session will equip educators with tools and strategies to engage families through a mutual partnership.
