Preschool and elementary teachers will have the opportunity to reflect and refine their skills in building meaningful connections with students and supporting their emotional regulation. Presenters will offer strategies with success stories around the topics of: Making Connections, Visual Supports, Consistent Vocabulary, Physical Learning Environment, and Student Goal Setting. This session will provide practical strategies for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every child feels valued and understood. Through intentional use of language and visual supports, educators will learn how to effectively communicate with students, fostering a sense of safety and belonging crucial for optimal learning and behavior engagement. Participants can choose to reflect on their practice individually, dialogue with other attendees, or share as a whole group. Join us to cultivate deeper relationships with your students and enhance their emotional well-being.
